Winter colours

This season the most worn colours will be CAMEL and GREY. In all the famous designer's catwalks there are many garments in camel. It's preferable to be in suede or in velvet. Which colours to combine it with? BLACK. The BLACK has to be in leather or in goatskin. If you know well how to use it , it can look really good! Chloe is a key point about the CAMEL. As you know, the majority of Chloe's outfits are CAMEL. Have a look at those. If you are looking for something less expensive you can also look at Zara. They have really nice coats and jackets.

Dusk by Elie Saab

Black is the most popuar colour of this collection. Fashion vampires filled the Catwalks with gothic and modern looks. BLACK is the main colour in this collection by Elie Saab. In this collection he combines the black with maroon, mint green and dark or navy blue.

The dresses that Elie Saab has designed for this winter-fall collection are mostly made out of silk or chiffon. Darkness, sobriety and discretion characterize this designs.

We can see lace dresses with flaps and tweed jackets. Some of these dresses can be adorned with big pearled or metal necklaces. The perfect shoes to wear with these dresses are black platforms or high-heeled sandals.

Lastly, thick furred stoles are ideal to use with these outfits. Also clutch bags can be a total success when combined with these dresses by the genius designer Elie Saab.

Welcome to the Ice Age

Chanel has new proposals for this winter. ICE is the theme. The type of fabrics designed by Karl Lagerfeld are: synthetic fur, tweeds, or wool. The designer has been very thoughtful about the ecology and so he hasn't used real animal fur for his clothes. This fall - winter collection was shown under the glass dome of the Paris Grand Palais in which the floor was was a perfect imitation of the ice where their models dazzled the new season of Chanel. The garments will be dresses above the knee in ice colours such as light blue or white with collar, black tweeds jackets and long synthetic fur coats.

IBIZA'S ADLIB

The roll of Ibiza; of white, of long, of gauze, of flowing is the style of the summer. You can wear long dresses. Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana and Angel Schlesser have designed quite a lot of long dresses with this touch of Ibiza ADLIB. Dior has created such a great golden portofolio stingray clutch bag and so has Jil Sander with wooden platform heels that you could wear with a long with dress or flared linen pants. They'll look very nice!
White was once used almost exclusively. Time and people have been introducing other tones, on the catwalk such as clothing and accessories, including jewelry.
Even Miley Cyrus uses it!

70's disco

The roll of the 7o's disco is coming back this summer! Tye & Dye and hippie prints are going to be printed in lots of garments, especially in beach type of clothes. Bright colours like blue, green, orange, pink or purple, but NEVER, EVER WEAR YELLOW as a colour for the whole garment. Maybe, as ONE of the colours, but NEVER as only one colour.

Vaporous dresses, large skirts, bellbottoms, flowers, pleated fabrics or frills. This is going to be one of the most worn styles this summer in places from beaches to cocktails or dinners. You should ALWAYS wear this with platform heels or very high heels.

If you are aged 12 or 60, this style is also for you! It has no age!

Urban safari

Shirtwaist, saharans or metal studs are some of the apparels you can wear to get a safari look. you might probably think... why should I be wearing safari style clothes? Well, though not many people wear this style, it is very used by CEBS and many designers like Paul & Joe, Loewe or Oscar de la Renta are using this style for their catwalks and fashion shows. You can wear it maybe, with a thin leather or suede belt! It will look very good!

The colours to wear this clothes are khaki, sand tones, the colours of the african savannah are used more than anything in fabrics such as linen or cotton.

As a crowning finish, I would add a large picture hat that will give a very personal touch.

The latest trends

For this time of the year, the beginning of summer the latest trends are: wear fluorescent colours, t-shirts with XL prints, sequins, high waisted skirts, garments with gauze, floral prints, zip skirts, type shoulder bag made out of suede, old cowboy shorts, navy stile, watercolor prints, champagne and nude color clothes, sailor hat, picture hat or even maybe strapless bikinis with a chain in the top.

I recommend shops such as: Alexander McQueen, Emilio Pucci or Zac Posen for night dresses. Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Victoria Secret for swimming suits. Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Prada for handbags, Jimmy Choo, Massimo Dutti, Franchia for clutch bags. Old Navy, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianfranco Ferré or Armani for casual looks. Femme Fatale

In the last few years, the roll of looking like men, or at least dressing as men is being very used. Black is THE COLOUR. As the colour black is very elegant and combinable, you can use it with whichever garment you want. Also you can wear black in apparels like: blazers, dresses, smooth long night trousers, maybe with a bow? Black boots with heel cord are one of the latest trends in this section. The best-known style CELEBRITIES wear this kind of clothes and I recommend to buy this clothes designer and shops like: Yohji Yamamoto, Miu Miu, Giuseppe Zanotti or Malan Breton. You might not know who some of these designers are, but I hope you like what they design!

Summer 2010

The trends of this summer are wearing silk and vaporous clothes.Also bright colours such as bright blue, green or pink. White is going to be very worn this summer in the beach in garments like long shirts, baggy trousers and dresses. For the night, long dresses and long shirts with trousers and a thin belt inbetween. For shoes, clogs (you can buy them in shops like Massimo Dutti, Chanel or Stella McCartney). Sandals with some kind of rhinestones/tracks or roman sandals(availables in shops such as Giorgio Armani, Etro or Prada). Talking about summer and sun, what about sungasses? Von Dutch, Tom Ford,Prada or Phillip Lim are some of the most quoted sunglasses. I hope this blog has helped you to decide what you will be wearing this summer!

Vintage and Retro

Nowadays, old-fashioned retro and vintage styles are being used pretty much. Some famous celebrities such as Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung or Olivia Palermo are using this way of wearing fashion. The wear brands like Dior, a British brand called Twenty8Twelve, MOGG, Paul & Joe, Abercrombie & Fitch and Chloé, between others.

You can wear vintage clothes for every kind of ocasion or appointment. This is, with any doubt, on of the most worn styles.
